Our meetings are held the last Tuesday of every month at Fort Russell Township Hall in Edwardsville, IL at 6pm. Meetings are led entirely by our members, with input and reports from kid led committees such as Fundraising, Community Service, Program, and Activies. Our kids do a great job in post-meeting organization and communication- when the meeting begins, everyone knows what is going on. Very little last minute preparation takes place here!
Meetings aren't only informative for upcoming events, but they are fun! A speaker and demonstrator show off something that they can do or something that they learned at a recent event for the group at the end of each meeting. Activities are held at the beginning of each meeting to promote communication and incorporation of even the shiest members. Fun games like "candle decorating" or "guess-who-I-am" games are set up by members.

The HPC 4H participates in many areas of the organization, including horsemanship, pet care, agriculture, wood working, photography, cooking, and more. Our members are led by knowledgable leaders within these areas, and networking into other resources is encouraged in preparation for future careers.
